Frequently asked questions

Everything about magenCRM, the CRM for Jewish communities and synagogues that sends automatic reminders based on the Jewish calendar.

What is magenCRM?

magenCRM is a CRM for synagogues and Jewish communities that automates reminders and messages based on the Jewish calendar. It sends email and WhatsApp notifications for yahrzeits, Hebrew birthdays, anniversaries and any meaningful date in your community.

How do Jewish-calendar reminders work?

You enter the date in the Gregorian or the Jewish calendar (magenCRM computes the other), accounting for the "after sunset" adjustment. It calculates the next Hebrew occurrence of each date and sends the reminder at the right time.

Does it send by WhatsApp and email?

Yes. You can send automated notifications and broadcasts by both email and WhatsApp, using saved templates or composing a message on the spot with personalized variables.

What kinds of dates can I manage?

Yahrzeits, Hebrew birthdays, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, and any type you define. Each type can have an icon to recognize it in the calendar and tables.

Is it for a synagogue and also for an individual?

Yes. Both organizations (synagogues, temples, Chabad, kehillot) and individuals who want to never miss a loved one’s dates can create an account.

Can I automate sending?

Yes. Automated workflows let you set rules like "send X days before" and the system sends on its own. You can also schedule one-off or recurring broadcasts, including Jewish-calendar recurrence.

Can the community sign up on its own?

Yes. magenCRM offers embeddable public forms so members can submit their own details and special dates, which are added to your contacts.

Which languages are available?

Spanish, English and Hebrew, with right-to-left (RTL) support for Hebrew.

How do I get started?

Create your account and choose a plan on the sign-up page. Setup takes a few minutes and the system starts sending reminders.
